Female Doctor

Dr Suzanne Bougher MB BS (WA)
Dr Bougher has practised as a GP at Parkwood Medical Centre for over 3 decades. She is an avid teacher and has been one of our main supervisors to GP registrars since 1996. She covers all aspects of general practice, including chronic disease management, paediatrics, women's health, skin cancer checks, as well as, cryotherapy. Her interests outside medicine include bushwalking, camping, gardening, and, birdwatching.

Dr Jenny Kan MB BS (WA) FRACGP
Dr Kan has been practicing at Parkwood since 1998 and became a fellow of the RACGP in 2001. Her interests are in all aspects of general practice. Jenny speaks Cantonese and Malay, and also has an understanding of Hokkien.

Dr Peggy Leung MB BS FRACGP
Dr Leung is one of the original GPs who established Parkwood and has worked here since its inception in 1980. She has been a fellow of the RACGP since 1985 and until December 2018, was part of the training team at WAGPET. She covers all aspects of general practice and family medicine. Dr Leung loves spending time with her family, and enjoys the antics of her favourite guinea pig Coco, sitting in her lap.

Dr Lydia Peter MB BS FRACGP
Dr Peter graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1990, began work at Parkwood in 1994 and has been a fellow of the RACGP since 1995. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with special interests including children and parenting, and is also involved in medical education, as one of the GP supervisors at the practice. Outside of medicine, she volunteers at an after school children's program, and enjoys gardening and cooking.

Dr Ginny Tay MB BS FRACGP
Dr Tay graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1991, and has been a fellow, as well as a member of the RACGP since 1997. She rejoined the practice in March 2019, having previously worked here from 1994-2000. Her special interests are in women's health, children and babies. When she is not practising medicine, Ginny enjoys travelling, cooking, gardening, and, her dog, Snowy. She is fluent in Hokkien and can speak some Cantonese.

Dr Nathan Burcham BBioMedsci, MB BS (Hons) (WA), FRACGP
Dr Burcham has a background in biomedical sciences, with areas of interest including men's health, paediatrics and mental health.

Female Doctor

Dr Adele Austin BN, MB BS (Notre Dame), FRACGP
With a previous background in nursing, Dr Austin enjoys all areas of general practice. She has a special interest in peri-natal health, children and women's medicine, as well as, skin lesions. Adele can also insert and remove Implanon and Mirenas, and does wedge resection of ingrown toenails.
Dr Austin is taking a year away to spend some time doing rural and remote medicine while seeing some of the wonderful places this country has to offer. She will leave in mid December 2023, and her intention is to return in early 2025. We wish her all the very best on her travels. As usual, staff and other doctors at the practice will continue to provide assistance with the care of her patients, while we look forward to her return

Dr Claire Siedlovskas MD (WA), BSc (Hons) Nanotechnology
Dr Siedlovskas is a new registrar at the Practice from January 2024. Claire obtained her MD from the University of Western Australia in 2019, and has been enrolled with AGPT Pathway to General Practice since January 2023. Her areas of interest are all aspects of general practice, with a special interest in chronic disease management, women and children’s health. She enjoys gardening, going for walks, and spending time with her cat.

Dr Melissa Morison MB BS, FRACGP
Dr Morison graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1999 and obtained her fellowship in General Practice in 2005. She worked in Bunbury and Geraldton before moving to Perth in 2012. She has been actively involved in training medical students and GP registrars, working with the WAGPET training team for 5 years. Her interests lie in family medicine across all ages and she can perform minor procedures and implanon insertions/removals. In her spare time, she enjoys caravanning with her family, reading, puzzles and gardening. We welcome her to the practice in June 2023.

Male Doctor

Dr Daniel Chong MD (WA), BPharm (Hons)
Dr Chong is one of our new registrars at the Practice from January 2024. Daniel graduated from the University of Western Australia with his MD in 2017. He has worked in various hospitals since then, and also has an interest in research. He starts his AGPT pathway with Parkwood as his first stop and is interested in all areas of general practice.

Dr Koya Ayonrinde is a Gastroentorologist, Hepatologist and Endoscopist who counsults at Parkwood on Thursday afternoons. View more information about him at Southern Surburbs Gastroenterology

Our Nurses:

Our Nurses, Robin, Maggie and Mersija, are qualified RNs, and undertake continual training to help the doctors with patient education on different topics such as Diabetes, Asthma and wound management.

Reception Staff:

Our Practice Manager Folu is ably supported by our wonderful reception staff, Diane, Lalaine, Annette, Nikki, Michelle, and lead receptionist Glenis, who manages the front desk.
