Dr Suzanne Bougher MB BS (WA)
Dr Bougher has practised as a GP at Parkwood Medical Centre for over 3 decades. She is an avid teacher and has been one of our main supervisors to GP registrars since 1996. She covers all aspects of general practice, including chronic disease management, paediatrics, women's health, skin cancer checks, as well as, cryotherapy. Her interests outside medicine include bushwalking, camping, gardening, and, birdwatching.
Dr Charlene Caspersz MB BS GCUT (Graduate Certificate of University Teaching)
Dr Caspersz has been a GP for over 25 years, and has been practising at Parkwood for just as long. She has been avidly involved in medical education of students, holding a Graduate Certificate of University Teaching. Her interests are in all areas of general practice.
Dr Jenny Kan MB BS (WA) FRACGP
Dr Kan has been practicing at Parkwood since 1998 and became a fellow of the RACGP in 2001. Her interests are in all aspects of general practice. Jenny speaks Cantonese and Malay, and also has an understanding of Hokkien.
Dr Peggy Leung MB BS FRACGP
Dr Leung is one of the original GPs who established Parkwood and has worked here since its inception in 1980. She has been a fellow of the RACGP since 1985 and until December 2018, was part of the training team at WAGPET. She covers all aspects of general practice and family medicine.
Dr Alexander Nathan MB BS
Dr Nathan has been a GP at Parkwood since 1996 and is currently the main male GP at the Practice. His interests are in all aspects of family medicine, as well as men’s health. He speaks Tamil and Malay.
Dr Nathan Burcham MB BS (Hons) (WA), BBioMedsci
Nathan is a registrar at the Practice. He has a background in biomedical sciences and his areas of interest include men's health, paediatrics and mental health.
Dr Lydia Peter MB BS FRACGP
Dr Peter graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1990, began work at Parkwood in 1994 and has been a fellow of the RACGP since 1995. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with special interests including children and parenting, and is also involved in medical education, as one of the GP supervisors at the practice. Outside of medicine, she volunteers at an after school children's program, and, enjoys gardening and cooking.
Dr Ginny Tay MB BS FRACGP
Dr Tay graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1991, and has been a fellow, as well as, a member of the RACGP since 1997. She rejoined the practice in March 2019, having previously worked here from 1994-2000. Her special interests are in women's health, children and babies. When she is not practising medicine, Ginny enjoys travelling, cooking, gardening, and, her dog, Snowy. She is fluent in Hokkien and can speak some Cantonese.
Dr Stephanie Nathan BSc (Hons), MB BS (Monash)
Dr Nathan is a registrar at the Practice. She has a background in exercise science and her areas of interest include women's health, preventative health, as well as, mental health.
Dr Adele Austin MB BS (Notre Dame), BN
Dr Austin is a registrar at the Practice. With a previous background in nursing, she enjoys all areas of general practice. She has a special interest in peri-natal health, as well as, children and women's medicine. She can insert and remove Implanon and Mirenas, and can also do wedge resection of ingrown toenails.
Dr Oyekoya (Koya) Ayonrinde MB BS (WA) FRACP
Dr Koya Ayonrinde is a Gastroentorologist, Hepatologist and Endoscopist who consults at Parkwood on Thursday afternoons.
Our Nurses, Robin and Ellen and Maggie, are qualified RNs, and undertake continual training to help the doctors with patient education on different topics such as Diabetes, Asthma and wound management.
Our Practice Manager Folu is ably supported by our reception staff, including one senior receptionist (Glenis) who manages the front desk.
